Terms of use

Last updated · 17.10.2026

1. Acceptance

These terms govern your use of the OpenBrief website, connectors and consoles (the “Service”), operated by Super Inc. By using the Service, you accept them. If you use it for an organization, you confirm you may bind that organization. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is

OpenBrief matches advertising briefs with media opportunities published by media. We return every opportunity that fits and explain why. We do not select media for you, we do not sell advertising and we are not a party to any deal between an advertiser and a media. You and your assistant decide what to do with the results.

3. Accounts

Give accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the Service at risk. Plans and usage limits shown on the website (for example the monthly number of briefs) may change.

4. Your content

You keep your rights in the briefs, media information and messages you send. You give us a licence to store, process, reproduce and display them as needed to run the Service, including showing media opportunities to advertisers and redacted briefs to media. You promise that you have the right to send them and that they are lawful and accurate.

For briefs, do not include the advertiser’s name or confidential information. See the privacy policy for how we reduce that risk and its limits.

5. Acceptable use

  • Do not break the law or the rights of others.
  • Do not send false, misleading or harmful content, or content that targets a person.
  • Do not try to copy the full inventory, scrape it, attack, overload or bypass the Service or its limits.
  • Do not try to identify advertisers behind redacted briefs, and do not misuse text written by media or advertisers.

6. Media information and AI output

Media opportunities, figures and claims come from media or from what they publish, with sources and dates where we have them. We do not guarantee that they are complete, current or correct. Your AI assistant may also make mistakes when it reads or summarizes our results. Check anything important with the media before you decide or spend.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability or results. We do not promise the Service will be uninterrupted or error free.

8. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Super Inc. and the people who run it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damage, or for loss of profit, revenue, data, reputation or business, or for any decision, purchase or deal you make with the help of the Service. If we are found liable despite this, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event, or CAD $100 if you paid nothing. Nothing here excludes a liability that the law does not allow to be excluded, including for our intentional or gross fault, or the rights consumers hold under Québec law.

9. Indemnity

You will defend us against claims arising from content you send or your breach of these terms, and cover the resulting costs, to the extent the law allows.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, name and logo belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you a limited, revocable right to use the Service; they do not transfer any ownership. Media names, logos and published materials belong to their owners.

11. Ending

You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may change or end the Service or any feature. Sections that by nature should survive (content licence for stored records, disclaimers, liability, governing law) will survive.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of the judicial district of Montréal have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any right a consumer has to go to another court. A French version of these terms is available on this site.
